"Great Ideas Often Receive Violent Opposition from Mediocre Minds"

Great minds think alike. They were more similar than most would like to think.

"On To The Next One" by Jay-Z

Although I have no comment on the symbolism used in Jay-Z's video, I must admit it was quite odd, yet creative. I was alarmed by the images and individuals used and I think a discussion of this has to be made. It is clear that Jay-Z is broadening his horizons and is "on some other ish"...possibly trying to reach another crowd?

What some say:
"I'll give you a few symbols which cannot be ignored. The most obvious one to me is the Ram's head, symbolizing Baphomet (a depiction of Satan). This is found in several Lady Gaga videos (Bad romance for example), Jay Z's "on to the next", a few of Rihanna's videos, and Beyonce is wearing a Baphomet corset in one of the pictures in her Sasha Fierce album. Another symbol to look for is the all seeing eye or eye of horus. This is the Illuminati symbol on the dollar bill inside the pyramid. Is it simply "the new style" that Lady Gaga and Rihanna are always covering up one eye with make up or their hair? Lady Gaga even gave and interview where she briefly looked at the camera and covered one eye with her hand. Why on earth would she do that? What does this mean? It wasn't an accident, people. Do some research and find out what these things mean. The Satanic occult has infiltrated politics as well. (see bohemian grove, skull and bones society, etc). There's just too much evidence to deny. These people are evil and they want our souls. They control powerfull institutions and deny access to those who aren't willing to sell their souls and promote their "religion".

Can You "Fall" For Some One You Have Yet To Meet?

Poetic attraction? Is it even Possible?...I think there is something there...because despite the fact I try and fight it off...poetry keeps me up at night, when lights outside are dim; I wonder if it happens to them...

But than I notice that people
will pay to hear me speak..."

Hip-Hop

Freedom Had a Price

I recited this heart warming poem last year for my school's Poetry Out Loud Recitation Contest. I came 2nd place after the renowned Elijah Orengo.

Ballad Of Birmingham

by Dudley Randall

(On the bombing of a church in Birmingham, Alabama, 1963)

"Mother dear, may I go downtown
Instead of out to play,
And march the streets of Birmingham
In a Freedom March today?"

"No, baby, no, you may not go,
For the dogs are fierce and wild,
And clubs and hoses, guns and jails
Aren't good for a little child."

"But, mother, I won't be alone.
Other children will go with me,
And march the streets of Birmingham
To make our country free."

"No baby, no, you may not go
For I fear those guns will fire.
But you may go to church instead
And sing in the children's choir."

She has combed and brushed her night-dark hair,
And bathed rose petal sweet,
And drawn white gloves on her small brown hands,
And white shoes on her feet.

The mother smiled to know that her child
Was in the sacred place,
But that smile was the last smile
To come upon her face.

For when she heard the explosion,
Her eyes grew wet and wild.
She raced through the streets of Birmingham
Calling for her child.

She clawed through bits of glass and brick,
Then lifted out a shoe.
"O, here's the shoe my baby wore,
But, baby, where are you?"

this is a dedication to those four girls, we owe them the world and our own freedom to walk the streets without fear of the KKK...

The photo taken in 1994 during the Sudan Famine won a Pulitzer Prize
. The picture shows a young child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometer away. "The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat him. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken. Three months later he committed suicide due to depression." My question is why didn't he just take the child to the food? I guess we will never know... ~*BuNmI*~
